Originally from Saskatchewan, Krista graduated from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Kinesiology.
Krista found CrossFit right away in her first job as an exercise therapist an used it to work with clients rehabbing injuries through functional based movements. The appeal of CrossFit’s universal scalability has always played an important role in Krista’s career path, as she has always worked in clinical roles with people of all different ages and physical levels.
This passion continued to grow, leading to Krista and her husband own their own CrossFit Affiliate for nearly 4 years. Krista loves the weightlifting aspect of CrossFit and she competed briefly at a provincial level.
Krista has a keen eye for observing and correcting movement faults, and her experience with injury rehab provides a unique perspective to helping people progress physically.
